Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by utilizing your expertise as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist within an educational setting. This contract opportunity offers a dynamic environment where you'll help children grow their communication abilities and reach their academic goals.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active state licensure as an SLP Previous experience working in a school setting preferred Strong knowledge of evaluation and therapy techniques for a variety of speech and language disorders Collaborative approach to working with teachers, families, and support staff Excellent communication and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for students as needed Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs Maintain accurate records of student progress and prepare necessary reports Offer consultative support and resources to teachers and parents, contributing to a supportive educational environment Participate actively in IEP meetings, staff training, and ongoing professional development This role invites you to work in a school-focused setting where your knowledge and compassion can make a daily difference.
