Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make a meaningful impact in education as a contract SLP for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. Schools in the Moriarty, NM area are seeking 2-3 skilled Speech-Language Pathologists to support growing student needs across several elementary and early childhood campuses. With flexible assignments and a supportive educational community, these opportunities provide the chance to help children achieve vital communication skills.
Current provider needs include:
Overflow coverage at an elementary campus, Full-time placement at a single elementary site (location to be finalized), Specialized services with Child Find and Pre-K populations at an early childhood center.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) State licensure (PED certification must be provided with your application) Previous experience working in school settings is highly preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills with children, families, and educators Adaptable approach with the ability to manage changing caseloads and student needs
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Provide direct speech-language therapy to students in accordance with IEPs and state guidelines Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Keep thorough documentation and participate in eligibility, intervention, and progress meetings Contribute to Child Find efforts and offer early intervention for Pre-K students where required Benefits include a supportive environment with ongoing updates around caseload and assignment details as information is finalized.
