Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a full-time Speech Language Pathologist position supporting students from the very start of the academic year through the end! This rewarding contract opportunity offers 37.5 hours per week, allowing you to make a profound difference in the lives of children and collaborate with a dedicated educational team in a vibrant school environment near Portage, MI.
Key Qualifications:
Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Possess (or be eligible for) SLP State licensure ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) accepted Prior experience working with students in a school setting strongly preferred Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills Passion for helping children reach their speech and language goals
Responsibilities:
Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based treatment for students with communication disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with educators and families Monitor student progress and maintain thorough documentation in alignment with school and state guidelines Consult and collaborate regularly with classroom teachers, special educators, and parents Attend meetings and contribute expertise to multidisciplinary teams Provide guidance, training, and support to classroom staff regarding student communication needs Working in this setting provides a unique opportunity to see students develop skills that impact them for life.
