Job Description
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding role supporting high school students as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a new school year opportunity. This contract position offers a flexible, part-time schedule—work any three days each week, with Tuesday as a required day, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. You'll work with a manageable caseload of no more than 30 students in grades 9-12, providing targeted speech and language services that foster communication and academic success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Licensed as an SLP in Illinois or eligible for licensure Previous experience serving high school-age students is highly valued Comfortable managing an organized caseload and collaborating within a multidisciplinary school team Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs and documenting progress Strong interpersonal communication and flexibility with schedulingPrimary Responsibilities:
Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for speech and language needs Provide direct therapy services to students in grades 9-12 Develop personalized treatment plans and participate actively in IEP meetings Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to ensure holistic student support Maintain thorough documentation, tracking student progress and compliance with school and district standardsBenefits & Perks:
