Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity near Santa Clarita, CA providing Speech-Language Pathology support in an engaging school environment. This assignment offers the chance to cover a leave, working alongside a collaborative team and benefiting from the support of on-campus SLPAs. The contract runs from August 2026 through November or December 2026, providing a fulfilling, structured placement within a welcoming educational community.
Qualifications and Experience:
Active California SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience serving school-aged children in educational settings Experience with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and compliance with special education requirements Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, staff, and fellow therapists Comfortable supervising or teaming with SLPAs Excellent organization and communication abilities
Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of approximately 45 students, delivering evidence-based therapy services Evaluate students for speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members Maintain thorough documentation and attend IEP meetings as needed Provide guidance and support to SLPAs working on campus Enjoy a weekday schedule with approximately 30 hours per week, allowing for work-life balance.
