Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Step into a rewarding contract role providing speech-language pathology services in a vibrant educational setting. Work full-time, supporting K-12 students for 37.5 hours each week, beginning May 20th through the end of the school year. Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Holds a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility Massachusetts state licensure (or the ability to obtain prior to start date) Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred Strong collaboration and interpersonal abilities Excellent organizational and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for K-12 students Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs Provide direct therapy and intervention services, addressing speech, language, and swallowing disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes Monitor progress, document services, and participate in IEP meetings Offer guidance and education to school staff and families regarding communication disorders and effective strategies Enjoy the flexibility of a school-based schedule with a supportive team, the opportunity to make a measurable difference, and the chance to expand your expertise working across diverse age groups and needs.
