Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity for the upcoming 2026-27 school year as a Speech-Language Pathologist, working onsite with students ages 2 to 22. Bring your expertise to a collaborative educational environment, supporting learners with moderate to severe disabilities. Enjoy the chance to make a real difference in students' lives while working closely with a devoted team of professionals. Your impact will span a variety of essential functions:
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver evidence-based speech-language therapy, including assistive technology, augmentative communication, social language, articulation, voice, oral-motor function, feeding, and language development delays. Conduct comprehensive diagnostic and evaluation assessments for students onsite. Develop and present thorough written reports reflecting student progress and assessment outcomes. Work with learners who have moderate to severe disabilities. Draft and maintain IEP objectives tailored to each student's communication needs. Engage parents and collaborate with staff members regarding student progress and strategies for improvement.
Qualifications:
Current or eligible Indiana Professional License (IPLA) and a teacher's license from the Department of Education (IDOE). Prefer 1-2 years of experience as a school-based SLP. Demonstrated ability to communicate with clarity and compassion. Flexible, solutions-oriented mindset to adapt within a dynamic school setting. Strong collaborative skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
