Overview
KnappMed.org Responsibilities Responsible for the evaluation, treatment planning and implementation of treatment for patients demonstrating disorders of speech, language, cognition, swallowing and other services prescribed by a physician. Assists in developing and implementing new and ongoing programs beneficial for the enhancement of the department. Qualifications Education and Work Experience 1. Graduate of an accredited college or university with a master's degree in speech-language pathology required.2. Active license to practice speech language pathology in the state of anticipated employment, free of disciplinary action required.3. Active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), free of disciplinary action - OR - Speech Language Pathology Clinical Fellow (SLP-CFs) to be considered on a case-by-case basis (provided proper supervision can be afforded to the CF) required.4. At least one year of experience in a hospital setting.5. Current BLS for healthcare provider's certification upon hire and maintain current. SPEECH THERAPIST
We are seeking a Speech Therapist, sometimes referred to as our Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Therapist. As our Speech Therapist, you are responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. This position is on a per diem basis, meaning PD/PRN as needed.Shift's Available:
