Job Description

Category Schools - SLPA Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic educational setting as a contract Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA), providing vital services to students across multiple campuses in an onsite, itinerant role. Collaborate closely with a supportive remote SLP, ensuring the continuity and quality of communication interventions. Your adaptability and school-based experience will help students achieve their communication goals in an engaging and nurturing environment.
Key Experience & Qualifications:
Valid SLPA license/certification Demonstrated school-based experience in supporting speech and language services Strong ability to travel between school sites (itinerant position) Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills Comfortable collaborating with remote supervising SLPs Commitment to documentation and compliance standards
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, following individualized education plans (IEPs) under the guidance of a remote SLP Travel between assigned school locations to deliver consistent and high-quality services Assist in assessment and data collection tasks as assigned Document student progress and communicate regularly with the supervising SLP Support teachers and staff with strategies for student communication success Maintain confidentiality and uphold professional standards in all interactions
