As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in promoting our products and ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, assisting with inquiries, and offering product recommendations. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and basic math calculations. Supervise store operations, ensuring that all staff members adhere to company policies and provide excellent service. Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers. Engage in upselling techniques to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining customer satisfaction. Maintain an organized and visually appealing store through effective merchandising strategies. Stock shelves and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability. Utilize strong communication skills to interact with customers effectively, including those who are bilingual. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and etiquette. Requirements Previous retail sales experience is preferred, ideally within a grocery store or similar environment. Must have open availability between 10am to 8pm Supervising experience is a plus, demonstrating leadership capabilities in a retail setting. Proficiency in cash handling and familiarity with retail math concepts. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions with customers and team members. Experience in merchandising and stocking practices to maintain store presentation standards. A passion for sports and knowledge of various sports hat styles is advantageous.
