Spring Operator - 1st or 2nd shift

Operates the spring setter machines and completes the spring stripping operation. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, plant rules and policies, operating instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Makes boxes and packages springs for placement into inventory. Checks springs for proper size and dimension as needed. Stripes springs according to the work order requirements. Sets the springs using the setting machines according to the work order instructions.
