Site) Vaco is partnering with a fast?growing client in Bristol, WI to hire a Sr. Accountant who thrives in a dynamic, small?company environment. This role is ideal for someone who is tech?savvy, proactive, and eager to grow into an Assistant Controller path. Key Responsibilities Client & Order Support Serve as the primary contact for customers placing consumable orders, ensuring accuracy and excellent service. Manage invoicing for capital equipment projects and service work. Core Accounting Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and lead the monthly close process. Perform detailed balance sheet reconciliations, independently researching and resolving discrepancies. Assist with year?end close activities. Operational & Systems Work Enter approved vendor invoices into the ERP system. Utilize ERP tools to improve processes. Support implementation efforts, including report creation and process documentation. Cross?

Functional Collaboration Work confidently with assertive personalities across teams. Maintain professionalism during challenging internal and client conversations. Adapt quickly as priorities shift in a fast?paced startup environment. Required Skills & Attributes Strong accounting foundation with hands?on experience in GL, reconciliations, and month?end close. Tech?savvy with strong Microsoft Suite skills; ERP experience required. Self?starter with initiative, curiosity, and a growth mindset. Comfortable navigating change and evolving processes. Strong interpersonal skills and confidence working across teams. Education Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate's degree or equivalent experience also considered.
