Sr. Accountant

Description At Robert Half, we're continuing to grow our Full-Time Engagement Professional (FTEP) practice within Finance & Accounting-a full-time, salaried consulting model where professionals work on high-impact projects across organizations ranging from small and midsize businesses to Fortune 500 companies. We are looking to hire an accountant to join our fast-growing Full Time Engagement Team. The accountant will prepare journal entries, monthly and year-end closings, bank reconciliation, fixed asset maintenance and general ledger reconciliation. Additionally, you will be responsible for many aspects of internal reporting during the monthly close. You will assist in developing and implementing accounting policies. This position is very involved as it will produce financial statements, cash flow projections, and budgets. Requirements - Demonstrated experience with month-end close processes in a detail-focused accounting environment. Strong working knowledge of general ledger activity, journal entries, and account reconciliation. Experience completing bank reconciliations with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to prepare and review financial reports while managing multiple priorities effectively. Understanding of fixed asset accounting and related record maintenance. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication skills and the ability to adapt within different business settings.
