Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Sr. Accountant to join the finance team for our manufacturing client located in Watertown, MA. This person will support the company's Controller with all general accounting needs and also work alongside accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
Responsibilities:
Support the Controller with all aspects of general accounting operationsPrepare and analyze financial statementsPost journal entries and maintain the general ledgerAssist with month-end close processesSupport tax filings and related compliance activitiesParticipate in audit preparation and provide necessary documentationCollaborate with AP, AR, and payroll functions to ensure accurate financial reportingProvide cross-functional accounting support and take on a variety of responsibilities as needed
