Job Description

Job Summary The Sr Accountant will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and timely completion of month-end and year-end closing processes. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly close process. Reconcile complex general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Perform detailed account analysis and provide variance explanations. Work closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Treasury teams to ensure proper transaction recording. Support intercompany reconciliations and settlements. Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits. Contribute to ongoing efforts to automate and improve accounting processes. Maintain compliance with internal controls policies. Assist with tax and regulatory filings as needed. Experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 5-7 years of full-time accounting experience Ability to work honestly and improve current procedures and practices in the Accounting Department Ability to analyze, identify and solve complex accounting problems US GAAP knowledge required with an ability to distinguish between theories and practical application Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, specifically Excel Advanced proficiency with accounting software, DEACOM ERP a plus Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects Ability to maintain accurate records Ability to communicate verbally and electronically with both internal and external parties If you're looking for stability in a welcoming environment, apply now!
