Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Senior Buyer specializing in electronics manufacturing to join our dynamic procurement team. This pivotal role involves managing the sourcing, purchasing, and supply chain activities necessary to support our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in procurement processes, ERP systems, and supplier negotiations to ensure the timely acquisition of quality materials at optimal costs. Responsibilities Develop and execute sourcing strategies for electronic components and materials, ensuring alignment with production schedules and quality standards. Manage procurement activities utilizing ERP systems such as SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms to streamline purchasing workflows. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable conditions while maintaining strong supplier relationships. Oversee inventory management and control processes, including monitoring stock levels through MRP systems and ensuring accurate inventory records. Coordinate logistics and supply chain activities to optimize delivery times, reduce costs, and mitigate risks. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production planning, merchandising, and logistics to support seamless operations. Conduct market research to identify new suppliers or alternative sourcing options that enhance cost efficiency and supply reliability. Maintain comprehensive documentation of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance metrics. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in electronics manufacturing procurement or sourcing roles. Proficiency with ERP systems such as

SAP ERP, JD

Edwards, Oracle EBS, or AS400. Strong understanding of materials management, inventory control, MRP systems, and supply chain management principles. Demonstrated expertise in purchasing negotiations, contract management, and vendor relationship development. Knowledge of e-commerce platforms related to procurement and inventory replenishment. Familiarity with logistics operations including shipping, customs compliance, and distribution. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Candidates should possess excellent communication skills and a proactive approach toward problem-solving. A background in electronics manufacturing combined with experience using ERP systems for procurement will be highly advantageous.
