Role:

Performs cardiac diagnostic test using equipment on patients; Assists Medical Director of Non-Invasive services with protocols, policy and procedure; ICAEL accreditation. Assists Manager in day-to-day supervision of assigned personnel and facilitates patient flow for Non-Invasive Cardiology department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs and records diagnostic tests. Assists physicians in performing diagnostic procedures. Performs patient scheduling Maintains inventory of supplies for echocardiographic areas. Assists Cardiologist in the instruction of House staff. Assists manager in the supervision of assigned personnel. Assists manager in directing smooth patient flow in the Non-Invasive Cardiology lab. Assists Medical Director of Non-Invasive department in writing policies, procedures, peer reviews and ICAEL documentation.

REQUIREMENTS

Education:

HS Diploma/GED required.

Graduate of CAAHEP accredited school of Sonography required

Experience:

3-5 years of experience

Licensure/Certifications:

American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR, RCS, RDCS, RCIS or RCES, 

Registered Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Vascular Sonographer or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer Required Additional Information What We Offer:
