Senior Manager, Buyer/Planner - Combination Products, We are currently in Woburn, MA and moving to Allston in Fall, 2026 Terrestrial (formerly known as Vaxess) is developing a pipeline of next-generation vaccines and therapeutics on our novel micro-array patch platform. With only five minutes of wear-time on the skin, the self-applied patch enables up to two weeks of sustained delivery. The platform combines high temperature stability with simplified application to dramatically alter the way that drugs are delivered. Terrestrial is committed to enabling products that are not only more effective, but also more accessible to patients around the world. Position Summary The Senior Manager, Buyer/Planner is responsible for end-to-end planning and procurement activities supporting the manufacture of drug-device combination products. This role ensures uninterrupted supply of GMP materials, components, and services through effective demand planning, supplier management, and inventory control. The position operates cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Formulation, Engineering and Operations teams to support compliant, efficient, and scalable operations. This position will report into the VP of Manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain integrated production and material requirements plans (MRP) aligned with clinical demand, manufacturing schedules, and future forecasts Translate demand signals into actionable supply plans across raw materials, APIs, device components, packaging, and finished goods (ERP) Establish and manage inventory strategies (safety stock, reorder points) to balance service levels, risk, and working capital Build and maintain accurate BOMs, material masters, and planning parameters (lead times, MOQ, safety stock) Negotiate and manage supply agreements with a focus on scalability, flexibility, cost control, and risk mitigation Identify, qualify, and on-board suppliers to support GMP build requirements, partnering with QA to support supplier qualification, audits, change control, deviations, and CAPAs Establish and monitor supplier performance metrics (e.g., on-time delivery, quality, responsiveness) and drive continuous improvement Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field Experience Minimum 7+ years of experience in supply planning, procurement, or materials management Experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, or combination product environments required Demonstrated experience operating within GMP-regulated systems Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment strongly preferred Technical Skills and Core Competencies Strong proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) Advanced Excel and data analysis capabilities Understanding of BOM structures, demand planning, and inventory control methodologies Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Effective cross-functional communication and stakeholder management Preferred Qualifications Experience with drug-device combination products (e.g., prefilled syringes, autoinjectors, implantable delivery systems) APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) Experience supporting clinical and commercial supply chains Experience managing CDMOs/CMOs and external manufacturing networks Exposure to global supply chains and commercial distribution models
