Job Description:
VENTEON is hiring a
SENIOR PAYROLL ANALYST
to provide support in Detroit, MI. You will work as part of a payroll team processing end-to-end payroll for multiple locations. In addition, you reconcile payroll reports regarding fringe benefits and payroll taxes.
POSITION TYPE
Full time. Contract position expected to last a minimum of 6 months.
Hybrid:
In office Tues and Weds every week.
PAY:
$65,000 - $75,000 annual based on education and skills Requirements of the
Senior Payroll Analyst:
Education:
High school diploma. Payroll Certifications are a plus. Minimum 5 years of work experience with full cycle payroll processing in a high-volume environment is required. Experience entering and maintaining employee information, tracking PTO, processing bonuses, stock, and other special pay types, managing payroll deductions and garnishments needed. Ability to pull and analyze data and reports. Able reconcile payroll transactions. Knowledge in payroll taxes. Assure tax payments were made by ADP. Commitment to meeting the payroll cycle schedules. Technical capability with 3rd party payroll using
ADP, SAP
SuccessFactors and Microsoft Excel required. Duties of the
Senior Payroll Analyst :
Take part in daily activities designed to generate accurate, timely multi state payroll processing. Entering and maintaining employee information in the system including address, taxes, garnishments, and paycheck deduction amounts. Collect, organize data and process data for your assigned pay groups prior to submitting to ADP to generate paychecks. Provide support for employee and internal questions. Post payroll run provide data and reports needed to pay the insurance plans, 401K, and garnishments. Collaborate with Finance to produce, analyze and reconcile payroll related tax reports and information needed to generate general ledger entries. Audit to ensure 3rd party provider has paid the taxes to the proper authorities. Provide support for internal and SOX audits. Participate in payroll month and year end activities.
