Job Description
The Foreman is responsible for overseeing a crew and/or contract staff in the normal day-to-day operations of company wells, Midstream Assets (including Pipeline). The focus is on striving to achieve top quartile EHS performance while maximizing operational efficiencies and asset potential. Supervises the development and monitoring of specific field operation discipline (Production, Completions, Maintenance, Measurement, Fluid Movement, SCADA, Artificial Lift and Construction) enhancement and optimization efforts. Works in close collaboration with engineering, field and EHS staff.
Participates in multi-disciplinary team meetings, providing production operations discipline specific inputDevelops good relationships with and effectively manages contractors and suppliersHandles invoice managementProvides production operations discipline input into the budget process and collaborates with superintendent and management to develop budget estimatesConfers with engineering personnel regarding status of projects and field related problemsEnsures operations are scheduled and conducted in such a way to minimize delays, safety issues, technical issues and risksConfirms well site contractors are properly approved with SCM GroupActively participate in monthly safety meetings and lead meetings as neededProvide relief for the other foreman as neededOn site supervision of contractors involved in pipeline operations including construction, maintenance, pigging, inspection and repair operations.
Supervises and ensures performance is of the highest quality for all direct reportsParticipates in the performance reviews and personnel development efforts for all direct reportsRemains current in the application of the latest proven technologies and methods used for their specific operation discipline in the production of oil and gas assetsRegular field trips with ability to work extended hours when requiredConducts business with the highest ethical standardsRole-Specific Technical Knowledge & Skills Pipeline ForemanLeads, advises, manages, and mentors the Pipeline team by directing work, assisting in establishing priorities and ensuring completion of the teams collective and individual responsibilities and goals.
Manage associated pipeline and equipment documentation where needed.
Work with associated regulatory teams to assure full compliance of associated assets.
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations (OSHA 29 CFR 1926, DOT/PHMSA 49 CFR 192/195 as applicable), One-Call/811 Work with production and midstream operations.
Assist midstream and production operations teams with day-to-day activities.
Collaborate with all operations teams.
Manage pipeline maintenance projects where needed.
Manage new pipeline startups and associated purging where needed.
May oversee activities of contract crews and/or coordinate activities on any midstream asset.
Prepare documentation as needed.
Establish, track, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Follow safe operating practices and ensure compliance with SM Environment, Safety & Regulatory requirements.
Assure work performed adheres to SM standards.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Computer/Software Applications:
Proficient level of skill in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and ExcelExperience with industry/company software including, but not limited to, Wellview, ArcGIS and SCADA.Education:
High School Degree or equivalent Associates or Bachelors degree a plus A valid drivers license is required.Typical Experience:
