Job Description

Description OPAL (Operational Prioritization and Action Link) is redefining how operations leaders execute at scale. As the control layer for operational attention, OPAL translates real-time system signals into prioritized, standards-aligned actions; so leaders spend less time navigating tools and more time driving outcomes on the floor. Built to flex across business lines and scale globally, OPAL is on a path to launch across North America, Europe, and Japan. We are looking for a Sr. Program Manager to help build and launch OPAL, and shape how the platform evolves. This is a startup-style role on a small, fast-moving team. You will wear many hats — part operator, part analyst, part builder; working across product, technology, and operations to move OPAL from concept to reality. You will also own a portfolio of global Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) that define how operations leaders execute daily. This dual mandate is by design: the SOPs you govern are the domain OPAL is transforming, and your firsthand ownership of that content directly shapes the platform you're building. The ideal candidate knows how operations actually run, gets energized by how technology can improve them, and is comfortable operating at the intersection of both. As OPAL scales globally and across business lines, so does this role. We are looking for someone ready to grow from key contributor into the program's strategic owner. Key job responsibilities
  • Manage the lifecycle of a complex, cross-functional program — from requirements and pilot through launch and sustained adoption; across NA, EU, and JP
  • Own a portfolio of global Leadership SOPs covering in-station or on-road operations processes, including change management approvals, leadership directives, feedback resolution, and annual document validations
  • Evaluate change management submissions against operational standards, ensuring proposed changes are practical, scalable, and aligned with how leaders actually work
  • Own both tactical execution and strategic contribution: driving day-to-day delivery while helping shape how OPAL evolves across geographies and business lines
  • Partner with frontline operations leaders to gather feedback, identify friction points, and translate ground-level insight into platform improvements
  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to scope, prioritize, and deliver requirements grounded in how leaders actually work
  • Identify how OPAL's core execution model adapts to different operational contexts, business lines, and regional requirements without fragmenting the platform
  • Define and track success metrics — including leadership capacity reclaimed, escalation reduction, and execution consistency — and use data to drive program decisions
  • Write clear, concise narratives and present program status, tradeoffs, and recommendations to Directors and VPs
  • Streamline and eliminate excess process; create predictable, repeatable execution paths that scale
  • Over time, take on increasing ownership of program strategy as OPAL expands globally A day in the life No two days look the same.
You might start the morning reviewing a change management submission for a process used across 500 stations, spend midday in a product review pushing back on a requirement that doesn't reflect how leaders actually work, and end the afternoon drafting a VP update on adoption trends. Some days you're evaluating feedback from frontline leaders on an SOP that needs updating. Others you're building the automation that makes that review process faster. You context-switch fast, own what falls through the cracks, and move the program forward; whatever that takes today. About the team We are a small, focused team embedded in Global Last-Mile Logistics, working at the intersection of operations and technology. We build tools and execution models that deliver standards at scale and create a leader experience defined by clarity, focus, and excellence. The team combines deep operational knowledge with a product mindset, and we move fast without losing rigor. We are early in the journey; high ambiguity, high ownership, real impact. If you've ever wanted to build something from the ground up inside one of the world's most complex operations, this is that opportunity. Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
  • Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
  • Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status.
