Job Description
Company Overview Located in Central Oahu, for the past 47 years, Aloha Stadium has been Hawaii's largest outdoor arena and home to the University of Hawaii Rainbow Warriors football team. As the historic facility evolves into the New Aloha Stadium Entertainment District, or NASED, the stadium continues to host exciting events that attract local residents and global visitors, including holiday light shows, car exhibits, fairs and the ever-popular Aloha Stadium Swap Meet and Marketplace. There is no greater place than the Aloha Stadium! Overview This position is responsible for maintaining safety and security throughout the stadium complex before, during, and after events. Duties include patrolling assigned areas to protect people and property, enforcing laws and stadium regulations, and preventing unauthorized access to restricted areas. Responsibilities also include monitoring crowd activity, responding to incidents and emergencies, conducting investigations, and preparing daily security reports. The role may involve providing security escort for cash handling operations, assisting with crowd control, and ensuring compliance with safety and fire regulations. The Stadium Security Guard II may serve in a lead or supervisory role, assisting with scheduling, assigning posts, training personnel, and ensuring guards are performing their duties effectively. The position requires quick decision-making and the ability to handle high-pressure situations while maintaining professionalism with the public.
Requirements Experience:
Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or protection of property is preferred. Supervisory or lead experience is a plus.Skills:
Ability to enforce rules with professionalism, respond effectively to emergencies, conduct investigations, prepare clear reports, and communicate well with the public and team members. Must be able to handle stressful and potentially hazardous situations.Licensing:
Must be registered as a Security Guard with the State of Hawaii and possess a valid Hawaii driver's license.Other Requirements:
Must be able to work flexible and irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and event days, and be physically capable of performing security duties.Pay:
