Staff Accountant

A well-established and growing organization in the Princeton, NJ area is seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join its accounting and finance team. This position will focus heavily on accounts receivable and order-to-cash activities while also supporting broader accounting operations in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day order-to-cash activities including customer invoicing, collections follow-up, cash applications, and account maintenance Maintain accurate books and records related to sales, accounts receivable, and related balance sheet accounts Prepare account reconciliations, analyses, and supporting schedules Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation within the ERP system Support external audit requests and internal reporting requirements Assist with accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and additional accounting projects as needed Partner cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate financial information
