About the Role Delavan Holdings is seeking a Staff Accountant to support our centralized Shared Services Accounting and Payroll team, serving multiple automotive and RV dealership locations. This role is ideal for an early-career accountant who wants hands-on exposure to payroll accounting, general ledger, month-end close, and dealership financial operations in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment. You'll work closely with Payroll and Accounting to ensure payroll-related entries are accurate, compliant, and timely, while also supporting broader accounting functions across the organization. Key Responsibilities Assist the Payroll Department with payroll processing across multiple auto and RV dealerships Maintain accurate payroll records, deductions, benefits, and compliance documentation Reconcile payroll-related accounts and prepare payroll journal entries Support month-end and year-end close activities Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and profit & loss reports Code invoices, set up new accounts, and close monthly books Reconcile bank accounts, cash disbursements, and customer accounts Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities Assist with audit preparation and documentation File required federal, state, and local tax forms Ensure compliance with payroll and accounting regulations Coordinate with accounting software vendors and recommend system improvements Support purchasing and invoicing systems Perform other accounting duties as assignedRequirements:
