Job DescriptionJob Description Staff Accountant (Direct Hire) TES Staffing is supporting a wholesale beverage distributor that supplies a wide range of beer, wine, and non-alcoholic products to retailers, bars, and restaurants

Salary and Benefits:

What You'll Do You'll get hands-on experience across core accounting functions, including: Maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts Reviewing and coding invoices (AP) and supporting payment processes Reconciling bank accounts and financial records Assisting with month-end close activities Supporting audits and gathering financial documentation Filing tax forms (state, local, and federal) Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to resolve discrepancies What We are Looking For This is where it's different; they care more about how you work than just what's on your resume: ✔ 1-3 years of accounting experience (flexible for the right person) ✔ Strong Excel skills (pivot tables are a big plus) ✔ Understanding of accounting fundamentals ✔ A self-starter who asks questions and communicates openly ✔ Someone who thrives in a collaborative, open-office environment ✔ Positive attitude, team-first mindset, and willingness to learn Bachelor's degree preferred-but strong candidates with an Associate's or equivalent experience will absolutely be considered The Environment Open office with ~10 people, sometimes quiet, sometimes buzzing Social, friendly, and down-to-earth team Leadership is approachable and values input Expect a faster-paced environment during busy seasons (especially summer) but nothing overly deadline-heavy

The Details Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) Fully onsite
