Staff Accountant

The LandTek Group has been a leader in the construction of athletic fields for professional stadiums, colleges, parks, and school districts for over 45 years. We are looking for Staff Accountant with a proven track record of working in a fast-paced environment. Accountant will report to the Vice President of Finance. Responsible for reconciling entire balance sheet for each account Responsible for reconciling entire P&L by division Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: depreciation, payroll accrual, corporate P&L allocation, executive P/R entries, notes payable Preparation of audits, along with the testing of AP, controls, and fixed assets Preparation of company work-in-progress monthly, by job Prepare and pay all state sales tax returns Reconciling the company's bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers Reconciliation between operating database (Timberline) and general ledger Creating standard, accrual and correction journal entries Perform routine general accounting procedures Key Skills & Qualifications Experience with Timberline Stage 300 a plus Excellent understanding of accounting rules and procedures including (GAAP) Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, along with Microsoft Word and Outlook Ability to work independently Good listening and communication skills Good Analytical skills Key Background & Experience Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar discipline 5-7 years Accounting experience with 3-4 years of public accounting Good skills in preparation of financial statements

Pay:

$88,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
