Job Description

The Staff Accountant is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. This individual works with the Executive Director to develop the annual budget and helps prepare for filing the agency's tax statements. This role supports the organization's financial operations by managing general ledger activities, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end and year-end close processes. The Staff Accountant also oversees billing functions, including accounts receivable and accounts payable. This position plays a key role in supporting financial reporting, internal controls, and overall financial integrity.
Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required At least 3 - 5 years' experience in accounting or a related field Experience in general financial functions required Ability to read and analyze financial reports Strong mathematical and analytical skills Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel Excellent oral and written communication skills Familiarity with accounting software and tools, such as QuickBooks. Pay:
$65,769.60 - $90,000.00 per year
