Montague, MI Salary Range:

If there is alignment now or in the near future, we reach out. The Opportunity We partner with manufacturers across Montague seeking Staff Accountants who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit. Key Responsibilities Reconcile general ledger accounts, including bank statements and various balance sheet accounts. Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring proper coding and timely payments. Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end close procedures. Maintain fixed asset records and calculate depreciation. Assist with inventory valuation and reconciliation. Support external audits by providing requested documentation and information. Analyze expense variances and investigate discrepancies. Recommended Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of experience in accounting, preferably within a manufacturing environment Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and cost accounting principles Experience with inventory accounting and reconciliation Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bonus Qualifications Additional certifications or training Job Titles That Should Apply Staff Accountant, Senior Accountant, Junior Accountant, General Accountant, Financial Accountant, Cost Accountant, Treasury Accountant, Tax Accountant, Compliance Accountant, Reporting Accountant, Bookkeeper, Accounting Specialist, Financial Analyst (Entry-level), Accounting Associate, Assistant Controller Why The Pivot Group Network The Pivot Group Network was founded by manufacturing professionals who've been on both sides of the hiring process.
