• What You'll Be Doing:

• benefit from better care. All of that starts with good finances. Evolent is looking for a Staff Accountant or Senior Accountant I
• focused on revenue recognition
• to be a key member of the Accounting and Finance team. This individual will assist in the day-to-day accounting activities and month-end financial reporting requirements, while being actively involved in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial processes.

• Collaborations Opportunities:

• Evolent's Accounting team works cross-functionally with all departments across the organization, including Operations, and Finance, among others, supporting all company stakeholders, as well as the executive leadership team. This individual will work within a revenue-focused hub of the larger Accounting team, which also includes two separate GL-focused hubs.

• What You'll Be Doing:

• + Preparing accounting transactions across range of business processes (e.

g., revenue, accounts receivables, deferred revenue) + Preparing monthly reconciliations + Assisting with variance analysis (month-over-month, quarter-over-quarter, etc.) + Tracking customer aging and preparing cash application + Supporting the quarterly and annual financial statement audits with auditors + Participating in special projects, as needed

• Qualifications Required and Preferred:

• + Bachelor's degree in accounting
• required + 1-2 years of experience in accounting
• required + Experience with a Big 4 accounting firm or other national firm
• preferred + CPA license

• Technical Requirements:

• We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.
