Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract A 100-bed community hospital in Southern Oregon is seeking a dedicated Staff Pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care in a hospital setting. This contract opportunity spans 13 weeks, beginning on October 10th, with variable day and afternoon shifts to accommodate patient care needs.
Responsibilities include:
Dispensing and verifying medications accurately. Collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize inpatient medication therapy. Utilizing EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and documentation. Ensuring compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Oregon pharmacist license. Minimum of 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience. Ability to work full-time with flexible availability for variable shifts. Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems is preferred.
