The position begins as a full-time assignment for approximately four weeks, with the potential to transition to a PRN schedule thereafter, providing flexible working arrangements for local candidates.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform IV compounding with a strong emphasis on sterile preparation standards. Manage medication dispensing through Pyxis automation technology. Support the pharmacy team in order entry using the Paragon/Allscripts system. Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure timely and accurate medication delivery for inpatient care. Adapt to a rotating shift schedule, providing coverage during weekdays and weekends.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Valid California pharmacy technician license is required. Proven experience in inpatient pharmacy operations, including IV compounding. Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems. Competency in order entry with Paragon or Allscripts software. Ability to work flexible hours, including shifts from 07:30 to 16:00, 12:00 to 20:30, and weekend hours from 08:00 to 16:30.

This position is available in the greater Los Angeles area, with a preference for candidates who reside locally to facilitate flexible scheduling and coverage.
