In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care, assist with daily activities, and support the healthcare team to ensure a safe, comfortable, and healing environment. Responsibilities Deliver hands-on patient care, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance using equipment such as Hoyer lifts. Monitor and record vital signs accurately, ensuring timely communication of any changes to the nursing staff. Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations for patient privacy. Document patient information thoroughly in electronic health record (EHR) system, Point Click Care. Support patients with dementia or memory care needs by creating a safe environment and engaging in therapeutic activities. Requirements Valid State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification or equivalent licensure. Prior experience in nursing homes is highly preferred. Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs is advantageous. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting with Hoyer lifts and assisting patients with mobility challenges. Strong communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
