Job Description

Job Summary Advanced Dentistry is looking for a Sterilization Technician/Hygiene Assistant to join our team. This role would include sterilization of dental instruments and equipment, disinfecting treatment rooms, stocking rooms and assisting our dental hygienists. Candidates should be reliable, organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and have the ability to prioritize tasks. On the job training available. Responsibilities Clean, disinfect, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following established protocols. Maintain accurate documentation regarding sterilization processes and equipment usage. Assist in the inventory management of sterilized supplies and report any discrepancies. Collaborate with dental assistants and receptionists to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for procedures. Monitor sterilization equipment performance and report any malfunctions or issues. Adhere to safety guidelines and infection control standards at all times. Support the dental clinic team by providing assistance as needed during patient procedures. Qualifications Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in dental clinics, is preferred but not required. Knowledge of anatomy and vital signs is advantageous. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills a must. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
