Stock Prep Operator

Overview Mt. Holly Springs Specialty Paper, Inc. (MHSSP) is looking to fill a Stock Prep Position with our organization. MHSSP manufactures high quality dielectric paper for use in capacitors and transformers to customers all over the world. The Stock Prep Position is responsible for measuring and combining raw materials for the manufacturing of paper. This is an entry-level position in the production of paper manufacturing. A successful candidate will have opportunities to learn and move to other positions within our organization.

General Description of Duties:

Taking measurements of raw materials for weights and volume. Operate hand tools such as circular saws. Operation of equipment such as forklifts, pressure washers, hydro-pulper, refiners and winders. (Training and Certifications provided) Clean machinery and storage bins routinely. Assist maintenance crew with machine maintenance and repairs Assist in the conversion room when paper machines are not running. Any other duties assigned as needed.

Requirements:

Good physical fitness condition. Common sense. Safety must be a high priority. Basic math and science skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to learn and retain information. Ability to lift and maintain 50+ pounds. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to work closely in a team environment and ability to work independently. Time management and multitasking ability. From $22.00 per hour
