Stocker / Cashier

Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Customer Service Associate / Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers and handling cash transactions. If you have excellent communication skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced retail environment, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and assist them with their inquiries or concerns
• Process sales transactions accurately using a cash register
• Provide product information and recommendations to customers
• Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
• Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
• Upsell products and services to maximize sales opportunities
• Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the store

Requirements:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong sales skills with the ability to meet or exceed sales targets
• Effective time management and multitasking abilities
• Experience operating a cash register and handling cash & lottery transactions
• Knowledge of retail math for calculating discounts, taxes, and change
• Proficiency in using technology for sales transactions (e.g., barcode scanners)
• Ability to speak multiple languages
• Previous experience in customer service or retail is preferred Please note that all positions at our company are paid, including training.
