Job Description
Overview The Store Director directs and manages all phases of store operations. Duties include directing and coordinating the ordering, merchandising, pricing, freshness, housekeeping, food safety and safety programs. Develops and implements organization policies and goals, and accountability for providing direction, focus, establishing priorities and communicating expectations to all levels of company individuals. As the Store Director, you will: be responsible for all aspects of the store's operation including its financial labor/budget results through reinforcing budgets and meeting desired P& L, CTO, productivity/labor, quality, freshness, loss control, and proper inventory controls plan, organize, direct, and influence all store activities and operations make effective and objective decisions regarding inventory, allocations, ordering, scheduling and staffing maximize sales and gross profit opportunities promote a guest-focused approach to growth by creating an atmosphere of enthusiastic personalized guest service maintain employee engagement, retention, communication, strengthening training and development, and succession planning by building positive employee relations with your team and the support center team ensure fair and consistent practices are met in regards to employee recruiting, coaching, and counseling. execute (and ensure execution by others on your team) merchandising programs and visually exciting displays develop and implement plans to reduce shrink lead a talented team of department managers while developing them holding them accountable to store standards and company expectations Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age; Demonstrated ability to lead and develop other leaders; Knowledge and understanding of financials and how influence financials through sales growth, shrink management, and other factors; Previous retail/customer service experience preferred We believe that building a team of people with different backgrounds, beliefs, experiences and perspectives inspires fresh thinking and opens us up to new possibilities. To support our diverse retail operations, we operate our own central bakery, fresh foods commissary, and grocery warehouse and distribution center.
