Job Description:

The Retail Store Manager is responsible for the overall operation, performance, and leadership of a Thrift World retail location. This role oversees all aspects of store execution including sales performance, production, merchandising, staffing, and customer experience. The Store Manager is accountable for meeting company goals while maintaining operational standards and developing a high performing team. This is a hands-on management role that requires active involvement on the sales floor, in production areas, and in team development. Key Responsibilities Store Operations & Performance Oversee daily store operations including production, merchandising, and front end execution Ensure all departments are meeting or exceeding company production and sales goals Monitor key performance metrics including sales, sell through, and production output Ensure all priced product is processed and placed on the sales floor in a timely manner Maintain overall store organization, cleanliness, and operational efficiency Production Management Oversee sorting, pricing, and stocking processes across all departments Ensure daily production minimums are achieved Monitor product quality, pricing accuracy, and department output Identify and address production gaps quickly Team Leadership & Development Supervise all store employees Provide ongoing coaching, training, and development Ensure proper onboarding and training of new hires Hold employees accountable to company standards and expectations Foster a positive, structured, and productive work environment Staffing & Scheduling Manage hiring, onboarding, and scheduling of store staff Ensure appropriate staffing levels to meet operational needs Monitor labor hours and overtime to align with budget expectations Customer Experience Ensure a positive and consistent customer experience Address customer concerns and inquiries professionally Maintain front end standards including cashier performance and service expectations Merchandising & Store Standards Ensure departments are organized, well stocked, and easy to shop Maintain company merchandising standards and store layout expectations Ensure cleanliness standards are consistently met, including restrooms and common areas Compliance & Procedures Follow all company policies and procedures, including HR and safety guidelines Ensure proper use of progressive counseling and documentation Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards Communicate store issues and needs to leadership in a timely manner Asset Protection Ensure proper handling and storage of product Prevent loss through adherence to company procedures Maintain awareness of theft prevention and reporting processes Qualifications Minimum of 3-5 years retail management experience Experience managing teams in a high volume environment preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced setting Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks throughout the day Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed Willingness to relocate outside of
