Storefront Glass Technician

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Storefront Glass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in glass installation and related construction skills. This role involves working on various projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial installations, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. The Glass Technician will be responsible for handling glass materials safely and efficiently while collaborating with other trades on construction sites. Responsibilities Install and replace glass in windows, doors, and other structures with precision and care. Measure and prepare glass on-site to ensure precise fit and seamless installation. Fabricate glass pieces according to project specifications while ensuring quality standards are met. Assist in heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed during installations. Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide excellent service. Skills Proficiency in glass installation techniques and knowledge of various types of glass materials. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail when fabricating glass pieces. Ability to work effectively on a construction site, demonstrating teamwork and collaboration skills.
