Max Speed & Strength is looking for a dynamic and passionate Performance Conditioning Coach to join our team! This is an opportunity to be a part of an elite team, helping youth athletes reach their peak performance through structured and innovative strength and conditioning programs.Responsibilities :
Lead Group Training Sessions :
Conduct dynamic group training sessions that target strength, speed, and agility for athletes ranging from 5 to 18 years old.Injury Prevention & Safety :
Ensure proper movement mechanics, injury prevention, and safe usage of equipment.Motivation & Support :
Foster a positive and supportive environment that encourages athletes to give their best and reach new milestones.Professional Development :
Participate in ongoing training and certifications to stay up-to-date with the latest coaching techniques and industry standards.Required Qualifications :
Certification Preferred :
NCCA-accredited certification (e.g., NASM, NSCA, ACSM, ACE) required. Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) from NSCA preferred.Experience :
At least 1+ year of experience coaching strength & conditioning in a high school, collegiate, or professional performance setting.Education :
High school diploma required. A Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field is preferred. Passion forCoaching :
A high-energy, motivating, and positive attitude with a genuine passion for helping athletes reach their goals.Sports Background :
Experience in competitive sports or coaching athletes is a major plus.CPR/AED Certification :
Valid CPR/AED certification required.Preferred Skills :
Ability to adjust workout programs for diverse skill levels. Strong interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with athletes, parents, and teammates. Knowledge of strength training and lifting methodologies. Experience with team and group training environments.Key Responsibilities :
Lead group training sessions. Create a high-energy atmosphere that motivates athletes to perform at their best. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the training facility and equipment. Represent Max Speed & Strength's mission and values.Compensation :
