$75,000 - $120,000 (depending on experience and qualifications) Job Summary Riverview is building an in-house structural design capability to support the long-term vision of our milk processing plant development. This is an early-career role for someone with a foundation in structural engineering, design, or drafting who is ready to grow into ownership of structural design work on future plant projects. You will learn about our operation through our current project, work alongside our outside engineering partners, and develop into a meaningful contributor with a newly formed design team. We are willing to invest in training the right person on the technology and tools — what matters most is the foundation you bring, the ownership you are willing to take, and the way you show up for the team. Key Responsibilities Learn and internalize Riverview's current milk processing plant work, building a working knowledge of structural scope, systems, and design intent. Support the design and documentation of building foundations and footings under the guidance of senior team members and outside engineering partners. Contribute to pipe rack designs and support structures that accommodate process piping, conduit, and mechanical systems throughout the facility. Assist with equipment pad and housekeeping pad design to properly support and anchor processing equipment per load and code requirements. Help analyze and document plant floor systems, including slab design and load capacity, to ensure structural adequacy for current and future equipment placement. Support the design of access platforms and stairway systems that meet safety, code, and operational requirements within the plant environment. Help develop internal design standards and processes that improve communication, efficiency, and turnaround speed. Participate actively as an early start up member of the Riverview plant design team, helping shape how this team operates and grows. Qualifications Foundational experience in structural engineering, design, or drafting — whether through a degree, technical program, or hands-on industry experience. Working familiarity with foundation design, structural steel, concrete, and load analysis concepts as applied to industrial facilities. Willing to learn Riverview's systems, culture, and way of working. Comfortable with hands-on work on our current construction site. Comfortable operating with autonomy and ambiguity in new project. Experience with structural design software (CAD, Revit Structure, or similar) is preferred, but we will train the right person.
