Structural Fitter Industrial & Marine Projects

Job Overview Flexx Workforce is currently hiring an experienced Structural Fitter for upcoming industrial and marine projects. This role is focused on fitting structural steel components — not pipe. We are looking for dependable tradesmen with experience in shipyards, fabrication shops, or heavy industrial environments. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, structural drawings, and specifications Measure, layout, and fit structural steel components Assemble beams, plates, and structural assemblies to spec Tack weld components for final welding Use grinders, torches, hand tools, and measuring instruments Work alongside welders and other trades Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all job site safety standards and procedures Requirements Requirements 2-5+ years of structural fitting experience (NOT pipe fitting) Strong blueprint reading skills (structural drawings) Experience in shipyard, fabrication shop, or industrial setting preferred Ability to pass: Drug screening Background check (if required) Physical / fit-for-duty screening Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Reliable transportation Physical Requirements Lift 50+ lbs regularly Ability to stand, kneel, climb, and work in confined spaces Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions Benefits Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) Overtime opportunities Per diem available on select projects Weekly pay
