•Must be 18 years of age or older Metal Solutions, located in Northern Colorado, provides steel fabrication and construction design services for commercial, industrial and residential building projects. At Metal Solutions, we produce a wide range of metal products for a variety of construction projects including Design-Build. Every employee at Metal Solutions serves a vital role. We are looking for a Fabricator/Shop Artisan to join our close-knit group of highly motivated individuals.

Duties include:

Cut, shape, position and align different types of metals utilizing various shop tools, equipment and measuring instruments Read and interpret blueprints into actions Ensure all parts and assemblies meet quality control standards Fill out daily work tickets Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 2 years fitting and welding experience and will be familiar with various shop tools and equipment (iron worker, shear, drill press, grinders, saws, welders) and be able to read a tape measure to 1/16th". The ability to communicate and collaborate with coworkers, use a computer and trouble shoot are valued skills. Physical requirements for this job include: standing for long periods of time, working in awkward positions, lifting up to 75 pounds, climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling. Hours vary depending on our work load: Must be willing to work 8hr, 9hr, 10hr, 11hr or 12hr shifts.
