Job Description
Responsibilities:
Supervise and assist Summer Bridge students with activities related to the academic program during the week and weekend. Assists in coordinating logistics for the Summer Bridge Program orientation and other special events. Serve as the first point of contact for the Summer Bridge Program and coordinate responses to requests for program information. Perform other duties as assigned.Required Education and Experience:
Presently enrolled at Prairie View A&M University for at least nine (9) graduate or six (6) undergraduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done. Must be in good academic standing (SAP) as demonstrated through your college; minimum 2.0 GPA No prior experience necessary For work eligibility during a summer term, a student must be enrolled for at least three (3) undergraduate semester credit hours during the term in which the work is to be done or preregistered at least six (6) undergraduate semester hours for the fall/spring terms.Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong customer service orientation. Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others. Proficiency in computers with the ability to use word processing and spreadsheet software.Other Requirements:
