Posting Detail Information Salary Information Starting salary: $51,797 - $56,368 The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. The starting salary range represents the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
Pay Grade:
AH (salaried nonexempt) Job Summary Serve as Student Housing Assistant. Assist the Head Coach in all operations of the program. Assist with student services programs on campus. Essential Functions Assist with the daily supervision and responsibilities with issues related to campus student housing to ensure safe, clean, and well-maintained housing. Complete accurate incident reports applicable to housing regulations, policies, and procedures. Complete check-in and check-out forms and submit and follow-up on maintenance work orders. Serve as the on-site/on-call representative for housing-related issues, including emergencies. Maintain positive relationships with residents by addressing concerns, enforcing community rules, and resolving conflicts in a professional manner, while living in the campus housing. Assist the head coach in all aspects of the team program including: coaching duties, organizing and executing a scouting and recruiting program of local and regional high school student athletes and out-of-state student athletes; actively participate and support high school visitations; establish individual contacts with athletes and parent/ guardians; follow-up correspondence/emails; lead campus tours for prospective student athletes. Assist with sports clinics, camps, tournaments, races and/or charity games. Assist with the development, implementation and supervision of student services, including but not limited to assisting with SAC events, back to school events, graduation, etc.; general clerical work in student services office; support operations functions that affect the student experience. Assist current and prospective student athletes to the appropriate resource to ensure their success (i.e. admissions office, financial aid office, tutoring centers, mental health counselor. Assist in monitoring that student-athletes get grade checks completed by professors and turned in to the coaches in a timely manner. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma. Two years of high school or college coaching or playing experience. Ability and commitment to live in on-campus housing. Strong communication skills. Ability to plan, organize and manage time. Ability to interact effectively, courteously and impartially with individuals coming from varied backgrounds. Knowledge of current software applications.
