Job Summary/Basic Function The Mathematics Department is seeking a student worker to provide a variety of tasks to assist the office.
Required Qualifications Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
Customer service skills
Computer skills (Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
Willingness to perform varied duties.
Ability to multitask and work with multiple projects at one time
Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in an office setting
Job Duties Task may included but are not limited to:
Answer phones and take messages
Data entry and manage database for Math Assistance Center (MAC)
Provide customer service to students
Marketing assignments - bulletin boards, handouts, D2L site updates
Assist with event planning
Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions and Physical Effort Be able to sit/stand and use a computer for the length of shift
