How You'll Make an Impact Be an integral part of an exciting, fast-growing team where you can leverage your outstanding bench skills in our regulated NGS laboratory! With your molecular background, you will be able to utilize not only your existing skills, but will also learn many new techniques, creating attractive new growth opportunities. What You'll Do Provide operations team with instructions for PCR and sequencing, Plasmid DNA Preparation, cDNA/gDNA Verification, DNA Cloning and related molecular biology projects where applicable o Related tasks to include but are not limited to: PCR amplification, post-reaction preparations, sequencing data analysis, mutation analysis, DNA/RNA extractions, cDNA generation, DNA transformation, and restriction digest analysis. Oversee GLP Studies in the Study Director role including protocol generation, batch record review, data analysis, and reporting. Contribute and/or independently execute project design, data analysis, trouble shooting and reporting Knowledge of using CLIMS for sample submission/data retrieval for sequencing orders as well as project data delivery. Communicate with customers by phone and e-mail in a friendly and professional manner to assist with simple troubleshooting efforts Additional tasks as assigned by supervisor What You Will Bring Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences is required Master's degree in Life Sciences is preferred Knowledge of Molecular Biology techniques In depth knowledge of the regulations for Good Laboratory Practice (GLP): 21CFRpart58; 40CFRpart160 5+ years of previous lab or analysis experience is preferred Excellent interpersonal skills; both verbal and written are essential Must be onsite at least 4 days per week to support in-person team collaboration EOE M/F/Disabled/VET If any applicant is unable to complete an application or respond to a job opening because of a disability, please email at Recruiting@azenta.com for assistance. United States Base Compensation:
$79,000.00 - $99,000.00 The posted pay range for this position is an estimate based on current market data and internal pay structure. Final compensation may vary above or below this range depending on factors such as experience, education (including licensure and certifications), qualifications, performance, and geographic location, among other relevant business or organizational needs.
