Duties Provide professional hair styling services, including cuts, blowouts, and special occasion styles, ensuring client satisfaction. Master and perform advanced techniques such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading to meet diverse client needs. Consult with clients on color theory and recommend personalized color treatments that enhance their natural beauty. Operate salon software systems like Vagaro for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail sales tracking. Maintain impeccable sanitation standards by cleaning tools, stations, and work areas in accordance with health regulations. Upsell retail products effectively through retail math skills while providing excellent customer service at the front desk. Experience Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across cuts, colors, and special techniques. Knowledge of salon software systems such as Vagary or similar platforms for efficient operations. Skilled in advanced hair treatments including hair extensions, eyelash extensions, and hair threading. Formal education in cosmetology or barbering from an accredited program; certification required. Familiarity with sanitation protocols, retail sales strategies, and upselling techniques to maximize revenue. Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect confidently with clients and team members alike. Prior experience is mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
