WHAT WE'RE DOING

The candidate shall lead a direct and matrixed reporting Supply Chain Management and cross-functional team to execute the Material requirements for the Army Air Force Market Segment future Black Hawk production capture.

THE WORK

• The candidate will be responsible for setting Material strategy during proposal and negotiation phases
• Responsible for implementing and executing the Material strategy for the future Black Hawk program of record, included but not limited to negotiation, order placement, and ensuring on-time delivery.
• The candidate will also lead the Material negotiations with the customer.
• Management of obsolescence and new product development for future Black Hawk configurations.
• The candidate will be responsible for regular executive level briefings across RMS/Sikorsky on future Black Hawk strategy and implementation.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience with supply chain
• Leadership experience with a team and/ or leading a project
• Experience developing suppliers and managing supplier issues
• Ability to travel up to 15-20%

Desired Skills:

• Experience with USG contracting requirements.

Work Remotely:

The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedules:

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
