Substitute Childcare Provider

Duties:

_ Subbing in a classroom due to primary teacher being out.

• Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
• Supervise and engage with children during playtime, meals, and outdoor activities
• Assess and monitor the progress of each child's development and provide feedback to parents/guardians
• Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns

Skills:

• Special education experience or knowledge is preferred
• Strong classroom management skills
• Experience in childcare or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care and education for toddlers
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education techniques
• Proficient in math concepts to support early learning
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues
