Job Description

Immediate opening for a part-time elementary Art substitute teacher in Woonsocket, RI. Candidate must be available two days per week, Thursday and Friday to teach Art, grades Pre-K to 8. Although a certification is not required, candidates must be reliable, enthusiastic, enjoy working with children, and available school day hours. New graduates, retired teachers and artists with strong organization skills and or experience working with children are welcome to apply. Please submit resume.
Some Responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and implement engaging art lessons for elementary students
  • Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe learning environment
  • Create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere for students of diverse backgrounds
  • Utilize effective communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Incorporate organizational skills to plan and execute art projects and assessments
